By simply providing food, water, and shelter, you can create an inviting environment for birds of all kinds.

How Do I Encourage Birds To Use A Bird Feeder?

One of the most common ways to attract birds is by putting up a bird feeder. You can buy bird feeders at most hardware or home improvement stores, or even online.

But it’s not just as simple as buying a feeder and putting it out – you need to make sure that the feeder is placed in the right location, and that you’re using the right type of bird seed.

When it comes to placement, your bird feeder should be hung in a location that is away from predators, such as cats or squirrels. It should also be placed at a height that is comfortable for the birds to reach.

My particular community has a strict HOA (Homeowners Association) rule of no bird feeders with bird seeds.

But we can put out Suets. So, I use all season no melt suets all year long and it attracts a very nice variety of birds to my back yard.
