We just want to give you a little information on our process in choosing the products that we recommend to you on our website. And also to explain what a reader-supported website is.
Both Robin and I have been through the process of caring for our elderly parents and we are currently helping our family and friends with their needs as it relates to caring for seniors, aging in place, use of durable medical equipment and using technology to make life easier for all of us whether we are the seniors or we are caring for them.
The products that we recommend on this website come from a variety of vendors but, as avid Amazon shoppers ourselves, we do tend to purchase many of our products through Amazon and as a result, that is what we tend to recommend.
When you click on a product that we recommend on our website and it takes you to the website where that product can be purchased, we may earn a small commission from that sale. This does not impact the price you pay for the product.
What Does Reader Supported Mean?
Our first goal is to provide our readers with information that is useful and relevant to them as seniors and/or caregivers of seniors.
In order to earn a small income for ourselves (as we are literally spending hundreds of hours on this website) we monetize our website with links and ads.
Are Our Product / Service Recommendations Biased?
Many of these products we either have used and/or are currently using so you can trust that we recommend them through experience. We have not received any free products or services or anything else by any of the companies that we mention or are associated with through an affiliate exchange. Our recommendations are honest.
What If You Know Of A Better Product / Service?
Well, we are all in this together, aren’t we? If you know of a specific product / service that you feel is much better than what we have recommended, please email us right away! We do not claim to know all – we are simply sharing our knowledge base with you for the sole purpose of helping you to make your life and/or the lives of your senior loved ones as best as they can be!
