In 1997, Esther authored a CEU (Continuing Education) course titled “Understanding And Treating The Geriatric Patient: An Overview for Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists.”
This course, published by the National Academy For Continuing Education, received valuable consultations from esteemed Physical Therapy and Speech Language Pathologists.
Over the subsequent years, she penned, published, and sold 12 CEU courses for Occupational Therapists through her own enterprise.
However, as the medical care landscape in the USA underwent significant changes in 2000, Esther pivoted her career towards website design and SEO (search engine optimization).
She founded Eckweb Designs, Inc., specializing in Internet Marketing for small businesses.
Under her guidance, hundreds of small business owners have flourished, optimizing their websites and overall business success.
While she continues to helm Eckweb Designs, Inc., Esther’s zest for life and continuous learning led her to explore new avenues even as she embraced her senior years.
In 2018, she collaborated with her long-time friend, Robin, to launch SeniorSafetyAdvice.com.
This venture aims to equip seniors and caregivers with the essential information and tools for aging gracefully and securely.
Esther’s commitment to senior safety is further evidenced by her certifications.
In 2019, she earned the title of Senior Home Safety Specialist from the Age Safe America organization, an AOTA (American Occupational Therapy Association) Approved Provider.
By 2022, she added another feather to her cap by becoming a certified CARES® Dementia Specialist (C.D.S.).
